Photo Update – Cusco!

10 Sep

Our seat, table, bed for 21 hours from Lima to Cusco, Peru

My first time trying coca tea. They have bagged varieties as well as loose leaves.

Our first glimpse of Cusco, Peru. It was pretty dusty.

Our humble abode for the next two weeks at the volunteer house.

We went to a hooka bar and I learned how to blow smoke through bubbles.

some fellow volunteers at the Plaza des Armas in Cusco

Stefanie and I with two other volunteers

Cathedral in the Plaza des Armas.

My new ride.

This is the school ‘yard’ where we teach English. Stray dogs just lay in the shade or chase pigeons.

Thanks for posting those pics. It's nice to have a glimpse of where you are and what you are doing. Emily enjoyed looking at them, too.
